On Monday, November 19, I met with Jason Schubert with the City of College Station. I wanted to get a better understanding of what the future plans are for the old Plaza Hotel and Suites site at Texas and University Drive. As most of you know, that was the location of our famous implosion! I learned that the site will be transformed into multi-level student housing with the surrounding area being retail and commercial spaces. As an investor myself, my prediction is that this unique development will increase the home values in the nearby areas making the north side of campus an even better area to invest in.
